Mode of Action: TAKFENAC Eye Drops treat the inflammation in the eyes with the effective action of Bromfenac (Bromine-NSAID, highly Lipophilic). High penetration allows rapid release and sustained levels across the corneal barrier then blocking the activity of COX enzymes (COX1 & COX2), responsible for catalyzing Arachidonic Acid to form mediators of inflammation (Prostaglandins and Thromboxane). Thus ultimately gives relief from the symptoms of inflammation and pain.

Postoperative inflammation (Cataract Removal Or Lens Implant)and anterior inflammatory diseases such as blepharitis, conjunctivitis, and scleritis

For Eye Surgery: Instill 1-2 drops of Takfenac Eye Drops twice daily starting 24hrs before the surgery till 14 days or as directed by the Eye Doctor. For Anterior Inflammations: Instill 1-2 drops twice daily or as directed by the Eye Doctor.  

• Hypersensitivity towards any of the component.
• Prolonged use of NSAID may result in Keratitis
• It may delay healing time.
• It should not be administered, wearing contact lenses.
• In the case of corneal breakdown, discontinue the usage and contact your Eye Doctor.

  SIDE EFFECT- Stinging and/or burning, sensitizations, irritation, redness, pain, blurry vision and hyperemia in the eye.
