FLUNARIZINE is effectively reduces the contraction of arteries and veins by depolarization, also without interfering in normal cellular calcium homeostasis it protects many tissues from injury by inhibiting calcium influx and overloading. FLUNARIZINE physically block the calcium channel which inhibits the influx of extracellular calcium via myocardial and vascular membrane pores , the decrease in calcium influx automatically decrease the contraction of smooth muscle and cause the dilation of the coronary and systemic arteries that further increases the oxygen delivery to the myocardial tissue.

FLUNARIZINE is indicated to use in following conditions-

• Prophylaxis of Classic (with aura) or Common (without aura) Migraine
• Symptomatic Treatment of Vestibular Vertigo Owing to a Diagnosed Functional
• Disorder of the Vestibular System
• Symptomatic Treatment of Dizziness, Tinnitus, Vertigo and Headache
• Owing to Cerebral Ischemia

ADULT BELOW 65 YEARS- Take 10 mg tablet daily (at night for good effect) ABOVE 65 YEARS- Take 5 mg daily. Or as directed by your doctor.
