ISOBUTOL PLUS is a range of anti-tubercular medicine formulated with the combination of two active ingredients such as ETHAMBUTOL HCL & ISONIAZID a combination of bacteriostatic and bactericidal anti-tubercular agent. This combination works by killing bacteria or inhibiting its growth. ETHAMBUTOL HCL functions by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell wall as it disrupts the arabinogalactan synthesis via inhibiting the enzyme arabinosyl transferase. As a result cell wall complex production inhibited and increases the permeability of cell wall. ISONIAZID is a prodrug , it converts to active form and then inhibits the synthesis of mycoloic acids, an essential component of the bacterial cell wall as a result bacterial cell lysis occurs.

ISOBUTOL PLUS TABLET is a fixed dose combination used in the treatment of tuberculosis.

ADULTS- Take 3 tablets/day for an average body weight of 50 kg or as prescribed by physician.

Before taking this medicine consult your doctor and tell your doctor about your all kind of energies because this medicine contain inactive ingredients which may cause side effects. Sometimes fatal hepatitis associated with this therapy may occur and may develop even after many months of treatment in that case contact to your physician. ADVERSE EFFECTS-
