TAKATRIN EYE DROPS

Composition:

Each ml contains: Atropine Sulphate USP
Stabilized Oxychloro Complex
(As preservative) Sterile aqueous buffered vehicle
0.1 mg 0.05 mg q.s.

Pharmacology

Takatrin eye drops is currently the most effective treatment for myopia control in children. It is aimed at slowing down the pace at which the myopia is increasing but does not reverse existing myopia.

Indication and Usage

Atropine sulphate 0.01% is indicated for slowing down the progression of myopia in children.

Dosage and Administration

Takatrin eye drops is indicated to be used once a day or as directed by the Physician

Warning and Precaution

Due to low pH which is necessary to stabilize atropine, the drops may cause mild burning. Allergic reactions were observed only in rare cases.
