PAREN TABLET is formulated with two active ingredients i.e. NIMESULIDE and PARACETAMOL a combination having anti-Inflammatory with analgesic and antipyretic activity used in the treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain. In combination NIMESULIDE and PARACETAMOL works by multiple functions such as blocking the prostaglandins production, increase pain threshold and the blood flow with heat loss and sweating.  NIMESULIDE is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug along with analgesic and antipyretic properties used for the treatment of acute pain, the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis and primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents and adults above 12 years old. NIMESULIDE have multiple function pathways it weakly inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins a cause of inflammation, also inhibits the oxidants from activated neutrophils and has a scavenging effect on hypochlorous acid without affecting neutrophil function along with effect on histamine release it decreases the release of histamine from mast cell that inhibits the production of platelet-activating factor by human basophils.  PARACETAMOL– As analgesic PARACETAMOL thought to act on central nervous system, reduces pain by inhibiting COX enzymes such arCOX-1, COX-2 and COX-3. Unlike NSAIDS it does not show any kind of action on peripheral tissues that’s why is not act as anti-inflammatory. Antipyretic-effect of PARACETAMOL is explained Hy the direcl effect of heat-regulating centre of hypothalamus as a results peripheral dilation and sweating occurs which cause heat dissipation.

PAREN TABLETS are indicated to use in the following condition:

• Sprains
• Wounds
• Injury Post Surgical Plan Dental Pain Arthritic Pain,
• Fever Inflammation Accompanying Respiratory Tract Infection and
• ENT Conditions

ADULT– Take 100 mg tablet twice a day. CHILDREN– 5mg/kg of body weight in 2 or 3 divided doses. Or as directed by physician.
