NASO  NASAL SPRAY contains XYLOMETAZOLINE HYDROCHLORIDE as its active ingredient an imidazole α-adrenergic agonist which acts as topical decongestant cause local vasoconstriction when applied in nose it constrict the large veins which swell up during the inflammation of any infection by binding to the same receptors as adrenaline used in to improve symptoms of nasal congestion, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. XYLOMETAZOLINE HYDROCHLORIDE has no mutagenic and teratogenic effects. XYLOMETAZOLINE HYDROCHLORIDE in NASO SPRAY is a sympathomimetic imidazole derivative which is designed to mimic the molecular shape of adrenaline when it acts on alpha-adrenergic receptors in the arterioles of the nasal activation of the adrenal system occurs to yield systemic vasoconstriction as a result blood flow in nasal passage decreases and consequently decreased nasal congestion that gives relief from stuffiness of nose.

NASO SPRAY is indicated to use in the following conditions-

ADULT: Instill into each nostril bid-tid or as directed by physician

Do not use this medication for longer period of time.
